Cut Carb Calories
December 17, 2008 by mrogers · Leave a Comment
A study done by a doctor at Temple University showed that cutting carb calories helped study participants lose weight, while not feeling hungry or deprived. Study participants cut carb calories drastically, but ate as much meat, vegetables and butter as they wanted.
Results showed that participants ate about 1000 calories less per day than when they ate all the carb calories they wanted, but still felt satisfied. The doctor reported that by cutting carb calories, people’s appetites diminished and they were able to lose weight.
It is unknown the long-term effects of a diet low in carb calories, but it has been shown effective as a weight loss tool for obese individuals. Any new diet should be discussed with your personal physician before starting.

Most weight lifting routines encourage a 2-3 minute rest between repetitions, but if you decrease the amount of weight you’re lifting, and decrease the amount of rest, you will burn calories fast.

To increase the calorie burn, you should begin your workout with a good cardio session - either running, using a treadmill, or riding a bike. This will maximize your efforts to burn calories fast.

Post a Calorie Burn Chart
December 9, 2008 by mrogers · Leave a Comment
A calorie burn chart is a useful tool to use when losing weight. You can make it a motivational tool as well by posting it on your refrigerator.
Choose your favorite foods (and those that make you cheat on your diet) and write them down on a piece of paper. If you can find a picture of the food, go ahead and include that as well. Then, write down how many calories in a single serving. Finally, figure out how much exercise it will take to burn off those calories.
The next time you reach into the refrigerator to finish a piece of cheesecake, you will be reminded of how much farther you’ll need to run, or how many more laps you’ll need to swim in order to burn off that piece of cheesecake!

You can follow a burn fat diet and lose weight! Many celebrities are now following a diet that helps them burn fat, while staying satisified. This burn fat diet is simple — eat more often. You shouldn’t eat more food, but you should eat 6-8 meals a day instead of only 2 or 3.
When you eat more often, your body doesn’t experience as many hunger pains and it becomes easier to avoid binging on foods when you feel starved. Your metabolism continues to work throughout the day, which helps you burn fat.
Be careful not to eat extra calories! You should determine how many calories you want to eat in a day and break that number down to the number of meals you consume. You will be eating small portions, but you’ll eat throughout your day on this burn fat diet.
