4 Ways to Burn Calories

When you’re trying to lose weight, it is imperative that you burn more calories than you eat in a day. You can fit in different ways to burn calories throughout your day, to supplement your exercise program.

  1. Lower your heat. When it’s cold, your body has to work harder to warm up, and will burn more calories.
  2. Always take the stairs. Avoid elevators and search out the stairs whenever you have to go someplace above the first floor as another way to burn calories.
  3. Run in place during commercials when you’re watching television.
  4. Stay standing while waiting. Instead of taking a seat in the doctor’s office waiting room, stay on your feet and move around. It’s a simple way to burn calories.

Every day, if you add just a few extra movements and activities to your day, you’ll find new ways to burn calories and lose weight.
