4 Ways to Burn Calories

When you’re trying to lose weight, it is imperative that you burn more calories than you eat in a day. You can fit in different ways to burn calories throughout your day, to supplement your exercise program.
- Lower your heat. When it’s cold, your body has to work harder to warm up, and will burn more calories.
- Always take the stairs. Avoid elevators and search out the stairs whenever you have to go someplace above the first floor as another way to burn calories.
- Run in place during commercials when you’re watching television.
- Stay standing while waiting. Instead of taking a seat in the doctor’s office waiting room, stay on your feet and move around. It’s a simple way to burn calories.
Every day, if you add just a few extra movements and activities to your day, you’ll find new ways to burn calories and lose weight.
