Fat Burning Tips in Winter
January 14, 2009 by mrogers
A study by Vanderbilt University Medical Center researchers found that activity levels dropped the most in December, January and February. If you’re finding yourself less active, try these fat burning tips to avoid stalling your weight loss. You can burn 100 extra calories by choosing some of the following activities, rather than relaxing on your favorite lounge chair.
- Ice skate for 13 minutes
- Shovel snow for 15 minutes
- Go bowling for 30 minutes
- Walk laps around the mall for 18 minutes
- Swim in an indoor pool for 15 minutes
- Dance in your living room for 20 minutes
Anything that gets your heart burning is a great fat burning tip. Don’t let the cold winter months let you pack on extra pounds! You can continue to burn fat even when the temperatures drop.
