Five Fat Burning Tips

These five fat burning tips will help keep you on track to lose weight.

  1. Avoid eating at least 2 hours before you go to sleep at night.  This will help your body’s metabolism overnight and will allow it to burn fat instead of any foods that you recently ate.
  2. Limit your salt intake.  Too much salt forces your body to retain water, which makes it more difficult to flush the fat and toxins from your body.
  3. Gradually cut your caloric intake.  Don’t go from eating 3000 calories a day to 1200 calories a day.  This will only force your body into starvation mode and you will not lose fat.  Allow your body to get used to lower calories slowly and give it time to adjust.
  4. Train with weights.  Muscle mass helps boost your metabolism throughout the day, not just during exercise.
  5. Drink plenty of water.  You want the body to flush out toxins and fat, and the water also helps you feel full so you don’t reach for a snack.

Keep these tips in mind as you start to lose weight.
