The best way to exercise to burn fat is to combine both cardiovascular exercise with weight training. When you combine both forms of exercise, you build strength and increase your metabolism — even during those times when you are not actively exercising.
When you are first starting an exercise program, you should aim for 30 minutes of exercise 5 days a week. You can alternate cardiovascular exercise (walking, jogging, aerobics, rowing, swimming) with weight training. The important thing is to strengthen your body’s lungs, heart and muscular system to help your body burn fat more efficiently.
The best way to exercise to burn fat is to exercise consistently. It’s easy to start an exercise program and then give it up after a few short weeks. Choose a variety of exercises and find something that you enjoy and fits into your schedule.
