Burn Calories, Lose Weight

To lose weight, you need to burn calories, lose weight.  While it sounds simple, anyone who has tried to lose weight knows that there is nothing simple about it. Losing weight requires motivation, dedication and hard work.

When you burn calories, you will lose weight as long as you don’t eat more calories than you are burning. As you increase your exercise, you may find yourself wanting to eat more, but you need to be careful about eating more calories than you are burning. If you don’t burn calories, you won’t lose weight!

As a reminder, you could write the words “Burn Calories, Lose Weight” on a piece of paper and tape it to your refrigerator and your front door. It will help remind you before you eat anything, and will also give you a reminder to move more when you head out your door!
