Add a grapefruit as a snack to your daily routine and this vitamin C-rich fruit helps slow down insulin spikes that can lead to weight gain, especially in the stomach area. Your stomach fat loss is increased as the amount of Vitamin C you eat increases. Studies found that people who ate the most Vitamin C had smaller waists than those who consume little Vitamin C. The difference was 131 per cent!

While you may have heard the best way for stomach fat loss is to perform hundreds of ab crunches, the reality is that just increasing your cardiovascular exercise is an excellent way to see more stomach fat loss.

Abdominal crunches are an excellent exercise to tone the core muscles, but until you lose weight those muscles will remain hidden. To get them out in the open and see the most stomach fat loss, combine abdominal crunches with plenty of cardiovascular exercise.

Taking a brisk, 30-minute walk most days of the week will increase stomach fat loss. Increasing your walks to 45 minutes and spending 15 minutes on ab crunches will have you with a flat belly in time for bikini season.

Boost Stomach Fat Loss

Everyone wants a flat belly. To help boost stomach fat loss, try eating mono-unsaturated fats at each meal. Mono-unsaturated fats (often called MUFA’s) have been shown to help improve stomach fat loss. Some common MUFA foods are:

  • Avocado
  • Canola oil
  • Olive Oil
  • Nuts like almonds, cashews, pecans, and peanuts
  • Olives
  • Peanut butter and peanut oil
  • Sesame seeds

Add one of these foods to each meal you eat, and you will see stomach fat loss, as well as fat loss on other parts of your body.  You still want to watch the amount of calories you eat, so be sure to keep your daily caloric intake to about 1600 calories a day for the best results in stomach fat loss.

Everyone losing weight is trying to achieve stomach fat loss.  The look of six-pack abdominal is a goal of many, and if not the definition of a six-pack, at least a flat stomach.  To achieve a flat stomach, you need to achieve stomach fat loss.

It takes time and patience to ensure stomach fat loss.  Just as with any other fat loss, you need to restrict calories and increase exercise.  Exercising your abdominals will help you achieve stomach fat loss, as well as create definition in those muscles.  You can’t exercise only your abdominals, however!  You need to lose fat all over in order to achieve stomach fat loss.  You cannot target just one area!  But, as you achieve overall weight loss, your stomach will also lose fat.
