A popular burn fat diet at the moment is the banana diet. It’s a burn fat diet that gained popularity in Japan, and it has shown success with those that follow it. The diet is pretty simple. Eat a banana and a 16 oz glass of room temperature water for breakfast. For lunch and dinner, you can eat whatever you want, plus a snack in the afternoon. While those following the diet claim they eat anything for lunch and dinner, I would suggest making reasonable and healthy choices for those meals.
The followers of this burn fat diet have likely seen success because bananas have a resistant starch, which increases fat burn by up to 30% (according to a study in Nutrition & Metabolism.) By eating a banana in the morning, those fat burning starches work during the day.
